I think I've been hibernating because of the cold weather and of course the lack of decent of sales.
But that changed this weekend, when the sun emerged and there was not one but two opportunities to look for treasures.
Vintage Christmas: A plastic Rosbro electrified snowman who is missing his original broom and pipe. In my research to figure out just what I had bought, I saw one on eBay with replacement for those pieces that sold for more than $100. Also, more plastic ornaments, likely from Bradford.
Vintage hankies and jewelry: The necklace has gone to my youngest daughter, who will wear it with her vintage clothes. The hankies need to be sorted and washed, and I'll share the results in a future post. There are at least 60 of them, and I guess I'm going into the wedding bunting business.
Vintage cake topper (with a catch): And speaking of weddings, I found this cake topper at the first sale, which was in a house that didn't have much light. And I guess that's why I guess that's why I didn't see that the groom has a significant crack in his head. To fix, or not to fix? What would you do?
