Loving the funeral script but those quirky lamps...hmmmm. I don't make decisions well, would have bought them both.

From a florist?
Don't think of it at 'FUNERAL SCRIPT'
'BABY' was probably a 'CONGRATULATORY SCRIPT'!! ;-)

I'm glad you took a picture of those lamps. I would have never pictured them exactly like that.

PS. My parents own a funeral home. I definitely would have bought the lettering from the floral store. Lots of purposes, aside from being tucked inside a floral spray.

I'm dying over those lamps... Who would have thought to make those into lamps?!

Peggy Jennings of Gramma's Linen Closet

My mother and I have an ongoing (many years now) contest. We live very far away from each other, but whenever either of us is "out and about" junking and we see an ugly lamp, we snap a picture of it. We call it the "World's Ugliest Lamp" contest. These doll lamps would definitely place in the top ten.

I think Sue is right and those probably had other uses besides funerals. Also I think they are infinitely more saleable than the weird dolls. Are they dresdens by any chance?

Those lamps are so weird! I'm surprised you were able to pass them up. The floral lettering is pretty dang cool though. I worked for a flower shop for a while and the owner still used those. He was very old school.

Oh, my. Those lamps are so weird they are cute! Can't you just imagine them on either side of your couch :)
