On Friday, I finally made it to Bouckville, although I felt like I had been there, vicariously, after meeting Sue and Gina for dinner earlier in the week during their annual shopping treks to Central New York.
But on Friday, I was actually there, looking all around for some special things to bring home and to the Etsy shop.
Certainly there was a lot to consider:
Or fans? Lots of em.
Ditto for the seed packets.
And the blue canning cars.
Saints preserve us. The Infant of Prague in abundance.
And speaking of saints, some stained glass windows.
I was not, however, tempted by this.
But I did pause here for quite some time, considering if half off of pricey was worth it.
I finally decided that it wasn't. Although I am still not sure of that.
I was sure that by the time that I headed for home that I had found a treasure or two.
Actually, I purchased in bulk, getting a better deal because I took them all.
And now I have enough blowmold pumpkins to arrange them like they're posing for a class photo. (Down in front.)
Still in the holiday dept: A nice tree topper in red, blue and white glitter.
And a classic nativity set.
That comes apart and folds up for easy transport and storage.
My best find, however, has me crowing a little.
Just look at that face. I think he's quite the find. If you agree, and would like to give him a new home, he's in my Etsy shop, soon to be joined by some of my other Bouckville treasures.
