I've been thinking too much lately about things that I really can't control, and I came to the conclusion that it was time for me to lighten up a little and focus on what I can control. So that's the reason for title of this post and the blog's new and brighter look.
For a long time, maybe two years, the background had been one of Typepad's formatted designs (Morgan Noir). Obviously, I liked the look, but I decided it was time to break out of the black and go for something new. Helping me figure everything out was my oldest daughter, Emily, who has such a sunny outlook that she has to wear shades when painting her bedroom.
We went from purple-ish to a nice creamy yellow (Martha Stewart's Custard).
So now there are two newly painted bedrooms in our house and we're moving on to what I think is much more fun -- decorating and accessorizing. More photos to come as we make progress.
As for blog's look, it will also be evolving. I'm hoping to change the banner seasonally, add some more sidebars and tweak it more often. In other words, it, like me, is a work in progress.

I like the new sunny look!

In the western world blog's glimpse, it will eventually also end up being innovating. I am expecting to alter that over the top seasonally, start being active . a lot more sidebars in addition to adjust the idea more often. In other words, the idea, for instance me personally, is often a perform beginning.

In either case, you want your faucet to match your countertop in overall proportion.
