Ah, just another day in the paradise that we call Syracuse: Gray, snowy and chilly.
The kind of chilly that demands that you go home and make a big pot of this kind of chili. Which Mr. VS and my younger daughter were kind enough to do.
A big bowl of it makes you warm and snuggly after a very good morning at the first estate sale of the year. How good? I'll tell you as soon as I sort through my finds, clean up a few items ... and have another bowl of chili.
Lucky you. Chili and estate sales. We had zilch in estate sale land, I had oatmeal for dinner and it is gray and raining cats and dogs out here. Looking forward to the post on your finds...

Your cornbread looks deee-lish! You've inspired me to make a big pot of chili next weekend just as an excuse to also have some cornbread.
